Sammi's Self Care Passions...

When I started on my wellness journey finding balance and a peaceful mind were right at the top of my list. Setting some self-care goals was the place to start but where was I going to start? I started with setting some small goals to begin with. I've looked back over my journal when I started this journey and showing up for myself was right there at the top. I wrote that I wanted to make me # 1 internally and externally, make a commitment to myself, invest in myself, love myself and find balance in work/family/study. Showing up for myself was something I really wanted to concentrate on and I found that the most powerful way that deeply and utterly supported me was the lifestyle change of treating my body as a temple. The transformation over 18 months was incredible inside and out. It gave me faith in the little changes I made at every step. Along my travels I discovered gratitude, meditation, herbs, essential oils, music, sleep stories and sound healing. I created a space in the garden just for me where I put a bench in the sun, some succulents in rustic pots and a herb garden called "Sammi's Patch".
I love looking back at this as I am still doing these things and some!
